About Covington Services, LLC

North of Bloomington the corn gives out and the sky takes over; Carlock sits in the middle of that openness, a few streets and a grain leg standing against a horizon with nothing to break it. That openness is the whole problem in winter, because prairie snow does not so much fall as travel, drifting across Route 150 and packing hard against every windbreak and garage door. Covington Services, LLC plows into that, running the village lanes and the long farm drives that reach back a quarter mile from the blacktop. The work happens at hours most people sleep through: headlights, a blade, the scrape, and the silence after. By the time Carlock wakes, the drives are open and the day can start on time.
