About SW Home and Lawn

Southwest of Carbondale the road drops toward the Big Muddy bottoms, where sycamores go white along the bank and August air hangs like a wet towel. SW Home and Lawn mows through that humidity, in the stretch of summer when grass grows faster than anyone wants and a week is a long time between cuts. Every yard gets the same treatment — an even pass, trimmed edges around posts and beds, walks blown clear, nothing left behind but the smell of it. When the river fog burns off in October and the leaves come down, those get cleared out too. Bottom-land grass grows hard; staying ahead of it is the entire job.
