About Shawnee Landscaping

South of town the Shawnee Hills begin — country the glaciers never got around to flattening, oak and hickory ridges rolling all the way to Bald Knob. Shawnee Landscaping works the yards at that edge, mowing and trimming ground that never lies quite level, edging walks and drives so a house keeps its shape against all that wildness. Autumn brings leaves off the hill by the truckload, and they get cleared away. Then the ridge roads glaze over first, and the blade goes out to plow drives, open turnarounds and treat the pitch where a car has to stop. Living up against the forest is worth it; part of what it costs is somebody willing to be out at first light.
