About Ray's Home Maintenance and Yard Care

The blocks around Turley Park are full of houses that were built to be looked after — deep porches, hosta along the foundation, front lawns that meet the sidewalk square. Ray's Home Maintenance and Yard Care keeps a weekly round through those streets, mowing at an even height, trimming along foundations and light poles, edging the walk until the line is sharp enough to read from a passing car. Clippings get blown off the drive instead of left to stain it. When the sweetgums start dropping, the leaves are gathered up and taken away before they pack down. It is ordinary upkeep, and it is what lets a house sit comfortably on its own lot.
