About Curb Appeal - Landscaping and Lawn Care Service

Carbon Cliff sits on a low shelf above the Rock River, where the ground still remembers the coal that gave the village its name. Curb Appeal - Landscaping and Lawn Care Service works that shelf street by street, mowing the long river-humid summers into something tidy and green, then edging the walks until the line between grass and concrete is a drawn one. In January the wind comes off the water with nothing to slow it, and the same trucks are out before the first shift heads for Silvis and East Moline, pushing driveways clear and salting the slick spots at the bottom of the grade. Landscaping here means planting for both extremes, the August heat that shimmers over the bottoms and the freeze that arrives overnight. The result is simple and visible: a yard that looks cared for from the curb, in every month the Quad Cities can hand out.
