About Pickett's Lawncare Services LLC

Come September the restored prairie near Burlington goes bronze and shoulder-high, which makes a fine argument for what grass can do when it is left alone. Pickett's Lawncare Services LLC handles the other half of the argument — lawns kept short and level, trimmed around trees and posts, edged along drives and walks so the whole lot has a border. The season runs from a spring cleanup through the long mowing stretch and out into fall, when leaves and stalks come down and get hauled off. Kane County weather does whatever it likes, and the schedule holds anyway. There is real pride in pulling into a place that has gotten shaggy and leaving it looking like a lawn again.
