Marshall Tree Service

About Marshall Tree Service

Buncombe keeps company with the Shawnee hills, where the road bends around sandstone and the hardwood ridges turn copper ahead of the first hard frost. Marshall Tree Service works that seam between forest and yard — pruning the hickories and oaks that lean in over a roof, trimming out the deadwood the wind would find on its own. In hill country a tree removal is half rigging and half reading the ground, and they would rather spend the extra hour than let a trunk choose its own way down. After a storm rolls up out of the south, they clear driveways and fence lines until a place stops looking like a wreck and starts looking like home again. Some evenings the only sound left on the hill is the ridge itself, and that is the point.
