About Aberle Outdoor Designs, Inc.

A snowfall at night makes Brookside about as quiet as a place can get, right up until a plow comes down the street. Aberle Outdoor Designs, Inc. is that plow — driveways opened, walks taken to the pavement, salt laid where the surface will glaze over by morning. The name promises a brook, and low ground is where the wind piles the drift deepest and where the melt turns to ice first. Getting there ahead of the alarm clocks is the entire job, and it gets done. First light on a cleared drive, with the snow stacked neat at the edge, is a good way to start a cold day.
