About Ketchmark Cut & Care Inc

There is a particular kind of June evening on the Congress Park blocks of Brookfield, when the maples have filled in overhead and every yard becomes a small green room. Ketchmark Cut & Care Inc spends that season making those rooms look their part — mow lines running straight down the lot, the edge along the sidewalk cut clean enough to read, clippings off the walk before the truck pulls away. These are close-set lots with parkway strips and old trees, and they reward a careful hand more than a fast one. The year opens with a cleanup, winter's litter raked out of the beds and hauled off, and it ends the same way in leaf season. In between there is only the steady weekly meeting of grass and blade.
