Winter mornings in Bristol often open with fog off the Fox, the Route 47 bridge half-erased, and a fresh white lid on every driveway in the village. Green Arias Landscaping is out in it — plowing, shoveling the front steps, salting the slick spots where yesterday's melt refroze overnight. When the river opens up and the ditches turn green again, the same trucks carry mowers, and the season becomes weekly cuts, trimmed fence lines and edges cut sharp. There is pride in both halves of that: a lot cleared before the first car arrives, and a lawn that looks finished from the curb. Bristol, Yorkville, Boulder Hill and Oswego make up the round.
