K's Snow Angels

About K's Snow Angels

Some of the most important ground in a Cook County winter is only a few feet long — the walk from a front door out to where the car is parked. K's Snow Angels works Bremen Township through the snow months, plowing drives, hand-clearing walks and steps, and salting the places where a person actually puts a foot down. Overnight the wind packs the ridge the street plow leaves across every apron on the block, and somebody has to break it open. Doing that before a neighbor has to try is the plain point of the whole business. There is nothing showy about a clear path; there is only the fact that someone can get out.
