Saturday morning in Bremen Township has a sound to it: sprinklers ticking, a screen door, somebody's mower two houses down. JPS lawn maintenance is part of that soundtrack, cutting, trimming and cleaning up yards through the long green stretch from April into November. These are quiet residential blocks of ranch houses and quarter-acre lots, where a tidy lawn is how a street keeps its shoulders back. Blowing the walk clean at the end matters as much as the cut itself. It is small work done steadily, and steadily is what adds up to a neighborhood.
