The Lawn Care Company

About The Lawn Care Company

July in Bourbonnais is humid and generous: grass that gains an inch between visits, thunderheads stacking in the west by late afternoon. The Lawn Care Company mows the streets around the Olivet campus in that window before the heat turns serious, cutting high enough to hold moisture and laying stripes that run true to the curb. Edges get trimmed around the mailbox post, the hydrant, the ring at the base of the maple; walks are blown clean and nothing is left lying in the street. It is a simple, repeatable craft, and doing it the same way every week is precisely the point. A lawn in good standing says something about the whole block it sits on.
