About Art's Landscaping & Irrigation

July in Bourbonnais turns heavy by noon, and the sandy ground near the river gives up its water fast. Art's Landscaping & Irrigation answers with the small disciplines that carry turf through it — mowing high, blades kept sharp, trimming close without scalping, feeding the grass when it can use it. Under the big shade trees north of the river the problem is different, thinner turf and more patience, and it gets that too. Beds are edged and shrubs kept in bounds. By the first cool week of September, the lawns tended this way are the ones that come back dark green.
