About Prairie View Landscaping & Lawn Care Inc.

South of Bloomington toward Funks Grove a little of the old tallgrass is still standing, and it explains the name of nearly everything around here — this was prairie first, and the sky still runs clean to the horizon. Prairie View Landscaping & Lawn Care Inc. tends the ground that came after: mowing, trimming, edging, seasonal cleanups, and beds held sharp against the creeping grass. When that same open country turns the wind bitter, the crews plow driveways, clear walks and put salt down where the ice sets in. A lawn cut level under that much sky looks like it belongs to the land it sits on. There is nothing fancy in the idea and everything in the carrying out.
