About Kaeb Services

North of Bloomington the road runs on past Hudson toward Lake Bloomington, where wind off the water finds every gap in a fence row. Kaeb Services works that ground the whole way around the year — mowing, trimming and edging through the growing months, leaf cleanup in the fall, then plowing, walk clearing and salting once the lanes fill with drift. A country drive and a town driveway behave like different animals in a storm, and both need opening before anyone has somewhere to be. There is a quiet pleasure in pulling away from a place that is finished: grass cut level, or pavement showing black under a low gray sky. That is the standard, week after week, storm after storm.
