About Chizmar Landscaping

West of Bloomington the section roads run arrow-straight toward Danvers and Stanford, and after a January wind the drifts build across them like dunes. Chizmar Landscaping keeps a blade ready for exactly that morning — opening driveways, cutting the turnaround wide, breaking the hard ridge the county truck leaves at the end of a lane. Walks get shoveled, steps get salted, and the ice hiding under an inch of fresh powder gets treated before anybody finds it the hard way. There is a particular pleasure in the sound a clean pass makes, whether the surface is gravel or concrete. Some nights the wind fills it back in; the truck comes back too.
