About Advantage Lawn & Landscape Inc.

In Lexington the horizon is one long level promise, and the corn at the edge of town keeps its own calendar. Advantage Lawn & Landscape Inc. works the yards between Main Street and the fields, mowing in stripes that answer the section lines out past the grain elevator. There is real satisfaction in the first cut of June: the smell rising, the walk edged true, the clippings swept off the drive before the truck pulls away. Beds get their spring turn and their autumn tuck, and the leaves that drift in off the Mackinaw bottoms are gathered before they mat. Along the old Route 66 lane at the north edge of town, a well-kept lawn is its own small landmark.
