About HomeSmith

The blocks near Illinois Wesleyan run to deep porches and small square yards, the kind where every edge is visible from the sidewalk. HomeSmith mows, trims and edges those lawns and the wider ones farther out, keeping the grass at a height that carries the September light instead of flattening under it. In a town this flat, a crisp border where turf meets concrete does more for a house than almost anything else you can do in an hour. Clippings get cleared off the walk, the beds get their line back, and the place looks cared for rather than merely cut. Bloomington and its neighboring towns, one visit at a time, all season long.
