Collins Mowing & Lawn Care

About Collins Mowing & Lawn Care

Bethany is a small square of streets set down in Moultrie County farmland, close enough to Lake Shelbyville that the summer traffic hums past on Saturday mornings. Collins Mowing & Lawn Care spends those mornings on the wide village lawns — the ones that run out past the last sidewalk and meet a bean field with nothing but a fence line between. Mowing here means long straight passes, careful trimming around clotheslines, mailboxes and the shade of a big silver maple, and a clean sweep so the street stays swept. When the corn goes and the leaves follow, the cleanup reaches the fence rows and ditch edges too. There's a settled kind of pleasure in a village where every yard is cut by the weekend.
