About DozaLawn

August in southern Illinois is heavy air and hard sun, and by midday the shade under a Benton maple is the only cool spot on the block. Grass slows down in that heat but the weeds do not, so the route keeps rolling: mowing, trimming along fence lines and foundations, edging the walk, hauling off whatever the last thunderstorm knocked loose. DozaLawn works the town and the country roads that run out past it, taking yards one at a time in the order the weather allows. Windows stay down and the day starts early for good reason. Come evening, the lawns behind the truck are short, even and squared to the curb.
