About Green Acres Lawn Care & Landscaping

October in Belvidere arrives all at once: the maples on the older residential streets let go in a week, and lawns disappear under a foot of red and yellow. Green Acres Lawn Care & Landscaping meets that stretch head-on with cleanups and leaf removal, then keeps mowing as long as the grass keeps asking. The reward comes at dusk, when a yard that was buried at breakfast lies open and combed and green again for a few more weeks. Mowing, trimming and edging carry the warm months; the autumn clearing is what sets the lawn up to come back well. There is something hopeful in raking a yard clean just before the cold — it is a bet on spring, and around here that bet pays.
