About Ohlendorf Lawn Services
South of Belleville the ground begins to roll, and the country roads toward Smithton and Millstadt run between hayfields that smell like June for a solid week. Ohlendorf Lawn Services works the town side of that line, mowing, string-trimming the fencelines, and edging until the walk shows a clean gray border again. Spring cleanups pull the winter litter out of the beds; fall means leaves, and more leaves, and then a last low cut before the ground goes hard. A lawn held to a steady week is a quiet kind of order in a place that has always liked its ground tended. The reward is easy to see, too: stripes still standing at supper time.
