Nooney's Lawn Care

About Nooney's Lawn Care

Saturday mornings on Belleville's Public Square start with tailgates open and crates of produce stacked before the courthouse clock has caught up. Nooney's Lawn Care keeps to that same early hour, mowing, trimming and edging the yards on the old brick side streets while the day is still cool enough to work in. Come winter the route runs the other direction: blades down on the driveways, walks shoveled, salt laid across the steps of houses that have stood through a hundred storms coming up the valley. There is real pleasure in a drive opened straight to the curb before the first car ever needs it. Grass or snow, the work makes the same promise, which is a place someone is glad to come home to.
