J A S Lawn Service

About J A S Lawn Service

In July the old limestone quarry on the edge of town holds water cold enough to make the whole day bearable, while every lawn in Batavia tries to put on two inches a week. J A S Lawn Service runs straight through that heat — mowing on a set rotation, trimming fence lines and posts, blowing the walks clear before the truck rolls on. Midsummer is when a schedule proves itself; skip a week here and the grass tells on you. The reward is a route of yards that all wear the same kind of order, one after another, deep into August. Batavia and the towns around it make up the round.
