About HelpingHandsBatavia

Near the old depot on the river, Batavia's blocks sit close together and the yards behind them are small, square and shaded — the kind of lawn a big machine has no business in. HelpingHandsBatavia takes those, and the bigger ones too: mowing, trimming, edging, leaves and spring cleanups for people who would rather not spend Saturday on it. The name describes the shape of the thing — a hand with the yard work, week to week, house to house. Little lawns repay attention; a tight trim around the stoop and the fence posts changes the whole look of a place. It is neighborhood work, done right in the neighborhood.
