About Lorenzo Lawncare & Landscaping

Flint Creek runs right through the middle of Barrington, and on a still evening the mist lifts off it and settles into the low yards along the way. Lorenzo Lawncare & Landscaping works those blocks — mowing, trimming, edging along the walks, carrying off the cleanups in spring and again in fall — and stays on them through winter, when plowing and salting take the mower's place. A property looks after itself in exactly no season here, so the work follows the calendar around. The best part is the last pass of the day: the crisp edge, the stripes laid down straight, the truck pulling away from a place that looks cared for. In January it is the same feeling at five in the morning with a driveway cleared to the pavement.
