About Morales A & J Services Llc

The Lincoln Highway runs through Ashton the way it always has, straight past the elevators and out into Lee County, where Franklin Creek cuts its wooded notch through otherwise open farmland. Morales A & J Services Llc works both halves of the year here — mowing, trimming and edging while the grass runs, plowing drives and lots and clearing walks once the snow does. Winter on this ground is a drifting business: four inches becomes a two-foot ridge wherever a fence line or a hedgerow slows the wind down. Summer is gentler and greener, and the satisfaction is smaller and just as good — one crisp border along a sidewalk, one lawn striped clean before supper.
