A Josh of ALL Trades

About A Josh of ALL Trades

Alton stacks its neighborhoods up the hill in tiers, and the brick streets of Middletown climb them one steep block at a time. A Josh of ALL Trades works those grades all year, mowing yards that sit above their own driveways and clearing snow off pitches where every foot has to be earned. Summer means an even cut and a trim line held tight along old curbstone; winter means a shovel-width path to a front door at the top of a flight of steps. A walk that goes from white to bare in one pass is what makes the early hour worth it. Lawn care and snow removal, done the way a hillside town requires.
