About Alton Lawn Company, Inc.

Rock Spring Park drops away into ravines where sycamores lean over the creek, and the whole west end of Alton greens up around it by the middle of May. Alton Lawn Company, Inc. keeps yards in that part of town on a rhythm — mowed, trimmed, the borders held sharp against the sidewalk. Come December the same routes turn white, and the work becomes plowing and shoveling before the first car backs out of a garage. A winter here can hand you four inches overnight and a bare street two days later, so the trucks stay ready for either. Grass in the warm months, snow in the cold ones, on the same familiar streets.
