About Legacy Tree Services, Inc.

Albion keeps its courthouse square the way southern Illinois towns do, with big hardwoods reaching their shade out over brick and lawn on every side. Legacy Tree Services works those elders and the farmsteads out toward Bonpas Creek — pruning away deadwood, trimming limbs that have grown out over roofs and drives, removing what the storms have hollowed from the inside. Spring in Edwards County means thunder stacking up in the southwest and afternoons that turn green-dark in ten minutes, and what comes down comes down all at once. The cleanup afterward is honest labor: take the tangle apart, chip the brush, haul the wood and rake the yard flat. Then July arrives thick and humid, and the shade those trees hand back is the whole reason for the trouble.
