Big Dog Mowing/Lawn Care

About Big Dog Mowing/Lawn Care

Edwards County keeps its old English Settlement bones — long prairie fields, a courthouse square, the Bonpas running low and brown under the summer bridges. Big Dog Mowing/Lawn Care spends its weeks in that landscape, mowing yards in town and the wide half-acre lots out where the section roads go straight at the horizon. The work is mowing, trimming and edging, and the reward is the moment the machine shuts off and the whole lawn sits there in even bands with a border cut sharp at the sidewalk. Albion summers arrive humid and green, growth coming on fast after every thunderstorm, so the rounds keep their rhythm from the first cut of spring to the last one of October. Lawn care for Albion and the small towns scattered around it.
