About Snow Warriors Inc

Everything about a snow night in Addison happens before it starts: trucks fueled, blades hung, salt loaded, radar watched while the sky over Illinois is still holding. Snow Warriors Inc keeps that vigil and then goes out, plowing lots and drives, clearing walks and steps, and salting against the ice that comes in behind the wind shift. A storm out of the northwest can lay down four inches between midnight and five, and the difference between an open lot and a mess is whether anybody was moving at two. There is a particular quiet to a town under new snow, broken only by a blade and the beeping of a truck in reverse. By sunrise the pavement is dark and clear, which is the only report anyone needs.
