TC Landscaping & Snow

About TC Landscaping & Snow

In Abingdon the wind comes off the harvested fields with nothing to slow it, and by morning it has laid the drifts in long combs across the section roads. TC Landscaping & Snow keeps the hours that go with that — the blade set square to a driveway before the yard lights blink off, the pass repeated until there is bare pavement under it again. Walks get cut to the concrete, edges kept straight, salt worked into the places where meltwater runs and then hardens. Knox County snow can be dry and blowing one week and heavy and sodden the next, and both are met the same way. There is a particular satisfaction in a farm lane opened all the way to the blacktop while the rest of town is still asleep.
