About Lawnco

Dawn on the Highway 95 corridor is a quiet hour — light rising behind the Cabinet Mountains, the shops at Ponderay still dark, dew heavy on every lawn between there and the lake. Lawnco is out in it, mowing early while the grass stands straight and the day has not gone hot. The work is the essential kind: weekly mowing, string trimming along walls and posts, a clean edge beside walks and curbing, every clipping cleared off the pavement. Spring and fall bring the cleanups — winter's debris out in April, the leaves out in October, the lawn handed to the season in good order. Sandpoint, Ponderay, Kootenai and Colburn are on the route.
