Steelhead Tree Service

About Steelhead Tree Service

Steelhead run up the Salmon River in the fall and the fish are long gone by the time the real cold sets in, but the cottonwoods that shade their spawning water stay right where they are, and Steelhead Tree Service spends its winters clearing what the snow does to those same trees and the properties beneath them. Heavy wet snow bends limbs low over driveways and walkways along the river bottom, and this crew works branch and blade together — trimming what's cracked, plowing what's buried. Mornings here can be startlingly clear, ice rimed thick on the river rocks and the Salmon River Mountains sharp and white against a hard blue sky. That kind of cold makes for good working conditions, if a person dresses for it, and this crew clearly does. Steelhead Tree Service clears driveways and walkways and manages storm-damaged limbs around Salmon through the winter season.
