Zundel Tree Services

About Zundel Tree Services

Fremont County farm ground runs north from Saint Anthony in long, cold, productive squares, and the shelterbelts along them take the brunt of every storm that comes off the high country. Zundel Tree Services works those rows and the town lots alike — trimming where growth has gone one-sided, pruning weight off limbs that reached too far, removing a tree whose top has gone bare and whose trunk sounds hollow. Harvest brings equipment down every road, and a branch hanging into a lane is a problem best solved before it becomes an expensive one. After a spring windstorm the day turns into cleanup: brush chipped, wood cut and carried off, the lane clear enough for a loaded truck. There is a plain kind of pride in a place that looks tended in a country this hard on things.
