Mountain Valley Floormats

About Mountain Valley Floormats

A floor mat only earns its keep because something outside got tracked in, and in Rexburg that something is usually a winter's worth of snow off the streets between the Henry's Fork and the foothills east of town. Mountain Valley Floormats works both ends of that problem, clearing the walk or drive leading up to a door so the mat just inside barely has to do its job. Storms here tend to drop out of the mountains fast, filling in overnight what looked clear at dusk, and this crew is out ahead of the morning commute along the flat streets near downtown. It's unglamorous work, matched to a valley that takes its winters seriously — a clean path in, every time the sky lets go.
