About JD Dirt Works

Summer work for JD Dirt Works is dirt — cellars dug for the potato crop that fills the fields around Rexburg, pads leveled, ground moved along the benches above the river. Winter turns that same equipment toward the white stuff instead, blades swapped on for plows once the first hard system buries the grid of farm roads between downtown and the university. Rexburg mornings in deep winter carry a particular stillness, hoarfrost thick on fence lines and stubble fields until the plows and the sun both get to work. This crew treats a driveway or a lot the same way it treats a foundation cut — square, clean, and finished before anyone's had coffee.
