About RootsUp Plant Health Care

Beneath the grass of the Rathdrum Prairie lies gravel, hundreds of feet of glacial outwash that takes water down almost as fast as the sky hands it over. RootsUp Plant Health Care begins below the blade, where the real story of a north Idaho lawn gets written: roots that have to reach, ground that drains fast, turf asked to hold its green through a rainless August. Fertilization, weed control, aeration and overseeding do that work, while mowing and trimming keep the surface tidy week to week. Come September, when the light over the fields turns amber and the evenings cool off, the difference shows in a lawn that never went pale. The route runs from Rathdrum out to Hauser and east across the flat toward Post Falls.
