About Clear Cut Lawn LLC

Cross to the south bank and the trails at Q'emiln climb through basalt and pine above the water, all rough edges and shifting shade. Clear Cut Lawn LLC spends its afternoons on the opposite proposition — turning a yard into something you can read at a glance, with the boundaries drawn and the surfaces swept. Mowing, precise edging along drives and walks, trimming, weed pulling and haul-away cleanups are the whole vocabulary, and the name is a fair description of the result. A cut looks best in raking late light, when the mower's lines and the shorn border along the concrete throw a faint shadow. Then the truck pulls out and leaves the street a little tidier than it found it.
