About Pocatello Landscape
On a snowy Sunday morning, Ross Park holds a particular kind of quiet, its paths and picnic areas under the previous night's storm looking, briefly, like they belong to no one but whoever's out early enough to see it that way. Pocatello Landscape clears the walkways and access points around properties near the park and through the surrounding residential blocks, working while the town is still mostly asleep and the only tracks in the snow are the crew's own. A clean path through a foot of fresh snow reads differently than a driveway does — there's more of it, and it curves, and getting it right takes a steadier hand with the blower than a straight run down a drive ever would. The crew treats the walk to a front door with the same care as the walk through a park, since both are simply the way someone gets from one place to the next on a cold morning. By the time the rest of Pocatello wakes up, the morning's work is already old news, which is more or less the goal.
