Idaho Greens and Lawns

About Idaho Greens and Lawns

Nezperce rises out of the Camas Prairie like an island, ringed for miles by wheat and barley that ripen to gold as summer wears on. In a town circled by fields, the lawns are the green that has to be kept on purpose, and Idaho Greens and Lawns tends that green for the Lewis County seat. Mowing and trimming hold the yards neat while combines work the rolling slopes beyond the last streets. Big sky, swells of farmland to the horizon and a wind carrying the smell of ripe grain make this a place where a tidy lawn reads like a front-porch welcome. When harvest dust hangs gold in the evening air, a clean-cut yard is the cool spot in the picture.
