Boyd Shippy's Lawn Care

About Boyd Shippy's Lawn Care

New Plymouth mornings start with frost thick on the orchard rows and the irrigation canals running low and still, and Boyd Shippy's Lawn Care is usually the first truck out, clearing driveways along the town's quiet streets before most people are awake. Snow off the valley floor tends to come heavy and wet, the kind that packs into ruts fast if nobody gets to it early. The work is driveway and walkway snow removal, one address at a time, until every path out to the street runs clean gravel and concrete. A straight-edged driveway against a field still white past the fence line is its own small proof that the morning didn't get away from anyone. By the time the rest of New Plymouth is up and moving, the hardest part of the day is already behind the blade.
