About Rangeland Construction Co.

Rangeland Construction works the kind of ground its name promises — ranch roads and ag properties out where Mountain Home's streetlights give way to fence lines and cattle guards, under a sky that goes enormous once the town's behind you. Snow out on that open range doesn't fall so much as it travels, driven sideways by wind with nothing to stop it until it piles against a gate or a line of fence posts. Getting a ranch lane open before sunrise, so a rancher can get feed out to stock or a truck out to the highway, means reading the wind as much as the storm itself. It's steady work, running a blade down a mile of gravel in the dark with the heater barely keeping up, but there's a real pride in leaving a lane open that would otherwise strand somebody's whole morning. Rangeland Construction clears ranch roads, driveways, and rural properties around Mountain Home through the winter.
