About Zing Services

March in Middleton is mud and magpies and the sudden discovery that the grass has started up again. Zing Services opens the year with that first cut — old thatch off, the lawn brought back down to an even height, the walks swept clean — and then holds it there through the long green months that follow. There is mowing and trimming and edging week to week, and the raking later on when the leaves come down through the river bottoms. Middleton sits right where the farm ground meets the neighborhoods, and a sharp lawn edge set against all that open country reads as plain care. First cut of the spring to the last one before the cold, the aim never changes: keep it even, keep it tidy, keep showing up.
