Palmers Window Washing

About Palmers Window Washing

Most winter mornings in Lewiston start with river fog, a soft gray hush that sits low over the confluence until the sun finally burns through it. On the rarer morning that fog turns to snow instead, Palmers Window Washing is out on the sidewalks along Main Street, clearing walks so shopkeepers and neighbors aren't slipping past their own front doors. A swept, salted sidewalk against a backdrop of frosted storefront glass gives this foggy river town a tidiness it doesn't always get to show off. By midday the mist usually reclaims the valley, but underneath it the walks stay clean.
