Lewiston Mowing

About Lewiston Mowing

Dawn on the Clearwater levee is the best hour Lewiston gives away: river fog on the water, a sprinkler ticking somewhere, pavement still cool underfoot. Lewiston Mowing is out in it, mowing, edging, trimming and hauling clippings from lawns along the river road and the streets behind it. Grass cut while the dew is still down lies flat and stripes clean, which is why the first stop of the day is often the prettiest one. By the time the sun clears the eastern rim, a whole row of yards has been squared off, blown clear and left quiet. Straightforward work, done in order, week after week.
