About Hudsons Contracting and Landscaping

September light out over the Tammany draws turns the dry grass the color of a paper bag, and the yards still holding green are the ones somebody planned. Hudsons Contracting and Landscaping builds and keeps them — planting, grading, sod and seed, borders and beds, along with mowing, edging and trimming once the ground is doing what it is told. Landscaping in this valley means working with the slope and the sun instead of against them: shade on the west wall, tough plantings where the wind comes up the draw. The satisfaction is walking a finished yard a year later and finding it filled in exactly the way it was drawn. Autumn is for cutback and getting the beds ready to sleep.
