Definitive Landscapes & Concrete

About Definitive Landscapes & Concrete

Lewiston is built on benches and basalt, and half of landscaping here is deciding where the ground should stop and a wall should start. Definitive Landscapes & Concrete builds the hard lines — walks, patios, slabs, borders and retaining walls — then plants and grades the soft ground around them and keeps the grass cut and the borders sharp. In June the light stays late over Bryden Canyon and a fresh pour cures slow and even in the evening cool. The pleasure of the work sits in the joint between the two halves: turf meeting concrete at a clean, honest line with no ragged gap. Done right, a yard reads as one idea instead of several.
